Factory reset the device

A factory reset wipes the device's owner, boat binding, and saved WiFi so it's like new. Use it before giving a device away, or to clear a stuck pairing and set up fresh.
Steps
- Owner only. Open Settings → GOAT Device → Device Management and tap Factory Reset. (In the Danger Zone, Disconnect Device does the same reset and also removes the device from your boat — use that when transferring or selling.)
- Confirm with your PIN.
- The device clears its pairing, saved WiFi, and remote-link credentials, then reboots and raises its SVGOAT-XXXX hotspot again, ready for a new setup.
Warning: This does not delete your boat, config, or voyage history — those live in your account. A factory reset only resets the physical device.
Note: After a reset, the device's remote link is rebuilt from scratch the next time you set it up.
