“Restore from Cloud” — what it does

Restore from Cloud brings your voyage data — voyages and track history (track points) — back onto this phone. It does not restore, repair, or re-pair your GOAT device.
Warning: This is a common mix-up. "Restore from Cloud" is about your voyage history, not your device. It won't bring a device back online, re-pair it, or recover its settings. For device problems, use setup or factory reset instead.
Steps
- Open Settings → Restore from Cloud (under "Cloud backup & restore", when signed in).
- The app downloads your voyages and track points, merges them with what's already on this phone (voyages with the same ID aren't duplicated), and recalculates your stats locally.
Note: Your boat config is backed up automatically and returns when you sign in — Restore from Cloud is specifically for voyage and track data.
Note: Map photos are not included. They never leave the phone they were taken on, so a restore on a new phone won't bring them across.
