Check your device's status & version

You can check whether your GOAT device is online and which version it's running, both in the app and on the web.
In the app
- The connection badge at the top of the dashboard shows Local or Remote when the app is connected to your device. If it can't connect, the badge and dashboard will tell you.
- In Settings, the About section shows your GOAT Device Version.
- In Settings → GOAT Device → Device Management, the screen shows the device's live status (Online, or Checking… / Connection Error if it can't be reached).
On the web
- On the web dashboard (svgoat.app), the Updates page lists your boat's device with whether it's online or offline and which version it's running.
Note: In offshore mode your device checks in only about every 30 minutes, so "last seen" can be up to half an hour old and that's normal — it isn't a fault. See Offshore mode.
If the device is shown offline and doesn't recover, try rebooting it or see Device shows offline.
