The tabs & More menu

iOSAndroid

The app has five tabs along the bottom and a boat selector at the top. Here's what lives where.

The bottom tabs

  • General — your main dashboard: position, wind, depth, speed, anchor status, and more.
  • Electrical — batteries, solar, shore power, and time-to-full / time-to-empty.
  • Tanks — fuel, water, and waste tank levels.
  • Community — shared voyages from other sailors, boats to discover and follow, the Sailors directory, and your own profile.
  • More — opens a menu of everything else.

The top bar

  • Boat name (top) — tap to switch between boats.
  • Connection badge — shows whether the app is talking to your boat locally or remotely.

The More menu

Tap More to reach: Navigation Instruments, AIS Radar, Marine Radio Frequencies, Performance Polar, Weather Alarms, Sailing Log, Position Map, Notifications, Marine Intelligence, Captain Data-beard, Sailors Network, My Crew, Feedback & Support, Help & Guides, and Settings & Configuration. (iOS and Android list the same items.)

Note: Some rows show a gold lock and a "GOAT device required" label — those need a GOAT device.

Platform differences

  • Captain Data-beard opens a setup screen on both iOS and Android. It connects your own Claude or ChatGPT to your boat's data — see Captain Data-beard.
  • The web dashboard has no More menu — it uses its own page navigation and doesn't include radar or the offshore toggle.
