What is SV.GOAT?

SV.GOAT watches your boat and helps you sail it better — anchor watch, batteries and tanks, weather, tracking, and more, on your phone and on the web.
How it works
- Your phone app (iOS or Android) is the heart of SV.GOAT. It shows live data, runs your anchor watch, records voyages, and sends alerts.
- The GOAT device is a small unit aboard your boat. It reads your instruments (position, wind, batteries, tanks, AIS) and feeds them to the app. It also keeps a watch running even with no internet.
- The web dashboard (svgoat.app) lets you check on your boat and edit its details from any browser. It's view-and-configure only — setup, anchor drop, radar, and the coaching screens live in the app.
What it can do
- Anchor watch — warns you if your boat drags anchor.
- Live dashboard — batteries, solar, shore power, tanks, position, wind and more.
- Voyages & map — automatic voyage recording, tracks, total miles, and journey photos.
- Alerts — low battery, high wind, low tank, and safety alarms.
- GOAT device features — AIS radar, weather and storm forecasts, performance coaching, and energy insights.
Note: You can use the app to sign in and add a boat before you ever install a GOAT device — but live data and the on-boat watch need a GOAT device aboard.
