The dashboard tabs: General, Electrical, Tanks

iOSAndroidWeb

The dashboard is your at-a-glance view of the boat. In the app it's split into three tabs along the bottom, each a grid of data cards.

How it works

  1. General — position, depth, speed, course, wind, heading, environment (air temp, humidity, pressure) and your anchor status. Tap the Position card for the map, the Anchor card to open Anchor Watch.
  2. Electrical — batteries, solar, alternators, DC/shore power and inverter, plus battery time-to-full / time-to-empty.
  3. Tanks — fuel, fresh water and black-water levels for the tanks you've set up.
  4. More (the fourth tab) opens the menu for everything else: map, radar, weather, settings and so on.

Note: Only the cards your boat can actually supply appear — a card shows up once its instrument is detected. See "What a card shows" for why some are greyed out or showing dashes.

On the web (svgoat.app)

The web dashboard shows the same live data but is read-only — you can view it, but setup, anchor drop and card editing happen in the app. Web organises the data across its own sections (General, Electrical, Tanks, Navigation, Map, Alerts).
