Change your account PIN

Your account PIN is what signs you into your SV.GOAT account. Here's how to change it or reset a forgotten one.

Change it (web)

  1. Sign in at svgoat.app and go to Account → Security.
  2. In the PIN section, enter your new PIN, confirm it, and tap Change PIN.
  3. The new PIN works everywhere — the app picks it up next time you sign in, even offline at sea.

Forgot your PIN?

  1. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot your PIN? — you'll get a recovery email.
  2. Follow the email to set a new PIN.
  3. Sign in with your new PIN.

Note: Changing your account PIN does not change your app-lock PIN (the one that locks the app on your phone) — those are separate. To change the app-lock PIN, see "Set the app-lock PIN".

Note: A newly set PIN keeps working even when your boat has no internet, so you can still unlock at sea.
